And I guess that's why they don't want Flash. Too bad, because that's a big limitation.

I disabled flash in my browser as all the animated adds were annoying me.

I want to like it, I really do. But no camera, no Flash, too expensive. All deal killers for me.

I don't agree at all that $500 is too expensive, and I see absolutely no reason to use a fricking tablet computer as a camera.

But the most astute analysis I've read of it is that it's designed for consuming things, not creating them. I haven't seen one yet, but I'm willing to bet it does a great job in that way; Apple is very good at that.

I plan to laugh heartily when all the "early adopters" finally get a chance to actually use it, and realize that their "magical" web browsing experience is a total joke, and they were again played as pawns in a huge, carefully calculated game.

The most astute analysis I've read of it is that anybody who actually buys this brick is a fool. A blind, vapid, ignorant fool.



Unfortunate, as a front-facing camera would actually give it a compelling feature for purchase.

Must be a lot of blind, vapid, ignorant fools in the world in that case. My bet? I think Apple has another hit on their hands, maybe not as big as the iPod and the iPhone, but a hit nonetheless.
